A87 Road Safety Review

The Community Council has received notification from Scotland Transerv, on behalf of Transport Scotland outlining a new Road Safety Review of the section of the A87 from Kyleakin to Portree. Apparently this length of road has a higher than average accident rate than other similar road stretches in the country and so a review is under way to try to address this. If you are aware of any issues or want to make comment please click here to see the Review Document and get in touch with the agency. The Community Council will be happy to pass on any information on your behalf, so just drop an email to info@sleatcommunitycouncil.org.uk and we'll pass it on.
