Scottish Government Ferries Review

There has been much discussion about the Scottish Government Ferries Review which was published in December 2011. The community of Sleat has been alarmed at the comments made in the review that the Mallaig-Armadale CalMac service is possibly deemed as a 'non essential' service, potentially threatening the future of this route. The Council will be attending a meeting on the 14th February with all interested parties from Sleat and we will report news of that meeting here on the News Page.
