Statement from Clan Donald Lands Trust

Sleat Community Council has been asked to publish the following statement from the Clan Donald Lands Trust, today 27th March.
“We understand and share the community’s frustration regarding the revised opening this year. We have to carry out essential legally required maintenance before we can fully open to the general public.
As with so many tourist related businesses, we took a devastating financial blow during the pandemic and consequently have been unable to make the necessary investment in our properties. We very much appreciate and value the support of the local community and hope that you will understand our present predicament.”
