Issues with Scottish Water

Added on 12 January 2013

The Community Council meeting of 8th January was largely a debate on the major issues the community currently faces with service and supply from Scottish Water. This followed the extensive disruption at the end of December when over 40 tankers of water were required at the Teangue works because of supply problems at Loch Carmichael.

Following the meeting it was agreed that the Council will write a strong letter to the Directors of Scottish Water, and at the same time contact the local MSP's, Highland Councillors and the media. To see the copy of the letter that has been sent to the Chief Executive of Scottish Water click here. The same letter has also been sent to the five other senior directors at the company.

The minutes for the meeting on the 8th are now available on the Agendas and Minutes page.
