On line Fraud Scam

At the SCC meeting last night two officers from Northern Constabulary advised about a  very new online fraud scam featuring classified ads. There have been a number of cases on the west coast, and some large amounts of money have been lost to online scammers.

All residents are advised to contact the local police if there is a cause for concern, and not to part with funds without   ensuring all avenues have been explored.
